Some of my collections of photograph

Last month (March 2014), I had a chance to visit 2 villages in Kupang District. I and the great team were looking for the information about local children's meal. The trip was really fun and I was so excited, especially because I was playing (I mean working) around nutrition issues.

Here are some photos that I love, showing people that I met and situations that I experienced.

A mama and her 2 under five children

A little boy who was attending a monthly Posyandu in Oh Aem II Village, Kupang District.
Such an innocent face, look at his eyes

A hundred years old man was eating "sirih pinang",
the local snacks that redden your mouth out once you mix them in a while

A little boy and his mom, he was wearing a bead necklace and a metal bracelet,
showing us the trace of the culture

"I need you, Mama. You are the only one who gives me such a comfort protection.", She thought.

Ray : Smiling like a bright sunshine

Agni was wondering why the adult were lining up and grinning to the camera

In front of her house, a mama is lounging while preparing sirih-pinang to eat.
Her right side was a little Oko Mama, a box to keep the sirih pinang ingredients, and her left side was a bucket to spit the bitter saliva. Be careful for the amateur eaters, if you swallow the bitter saliva, you could get drunk. Seriously!

"I'm babysitting my little sister while mama is working", said a super responsible big brother

A mama was wearing big scarf that she weaved by herself.
She then sold it for about Rp.100.000
