Life is unpredictable. Sometimes I have to go through
complicated situations, but sometimes days are so flat. Sometimes I feel like
I’m the most lucky one in this world, but sometimes I feel like a poorest one.
Sometimes I feel good, but bad times did happen in some other times. Sometimes life is full of some normal events. But just some days
ago, a bizzare incident just happened in my life.
There is a white female cat who lives in my boarding house (in
Kupang). My boarding house has 12 rooms. I just moved to this place for about
one month, so I’m the newest room occupant here. This cat has no private
owner. But I think she loves to live here because there is always somebody who gives his/her remain foods to Manis. Yes, they call her Manis.
Manis looked so fluffy. Other occupant said she was pregnant.
When holiday time came up, I went out to spend holiday with my family
in Soe. So I left my rented room. For the security sake, i locked up the door
and the window.
When christmas finally arrived, I and my family went to Kupang to met some of our families. This is such a tradition that in christmas we go to visit some close families to meet and greet.
Because we were in Kupang, I asked my father to go to my boarding
house. I wanted to take my shoes because I needed to wear them in my reunion
event.
So I entered my room, took my shoes, and got back to the car after
locked all things back.
All seemed normal in my room, nothing weird.
Some days later after christmas, a message entered my phone from a friend in the same boarding house. He told me that they (he and some other people) just took out Manis and her 2 new born kitties from my room! These creatures were found in my room because my neighbor heard her screaming frustratedly (of course she was frustrated in my locked room).
This news made me confused. I was not able to be angry or sad, just confused. This is weird.
I thought about how Manis entered my room, maybe in christmas time when
I came to took my shoes just for some minutes, that time she probably tiptoed very
quietly into my room.
I was wondered, from all the 12 rooms, why she chose my room for
delivering her babies? Because I’m a new comer, I mean Manis may have known
other rooms better, why did she want my room?
I imagined my room must be so messed up, smelly, full of blood and
poop. But when I arrived from my long holiday, there were only some small bloodspots in
bathroom and also the furs on my clothes.
Thank God!
I was suddenly turned blue, I thought about how Manis struggled for
her babies alone, in my dark room, with no food at all for about 5 or 6 days!
She did it very well and very clean. No poop or blood
everywhere like my exaggerated imagination. I’m so amazed to the mother instinct that
Manis has naturally.
Yeah this is my story about a bizzare incident that happened in my life.
And because this is still the beggining of 2014, I want to say happy new year to everyone. I hope life keeps surprising you. Just
open all your sensory, your heart, and your feeling. Have the multiple multi-sensory experiences, and get ready to be amazed!
