Mild Little Human

So soft yet furious, you grow up strong, mild little human

Mild little attitude

Big sense of humor

Something in your footprint,

I know, I know

You were born to my mildly broken heart

But honey you construct it back as a steel

I merely felt the pain, just mildly worried every now and then

Till you learn to hug me, never too tight: just mildly enough

I’d build castle made out of wood for you, for us

So no monster shall dare

Or I curse them severely

We’re the dragons, mild little dragons breathing fire

The smiles too bright to be mildly sensitive

I mildly forget this every single day

But when you command I know

Not a hug nor a kiss

Just like I need my caffeine,

You too need the mildly flavored drink to be human

Never I ignore

Even for a mildly sane day

Look at you, so tricky so hard to deceive

Strong-willed little boy

Wise mildly human

I’m mildly running out of reason

But you know every creature name

As if you named them, 

As if you discovered them

You must miss being under the canopy

When animals are singing instead of crying

Living freely not behind metal bars

The world so harmonious, it looks mildly like a fairytale

But honey I'll cover your eyes

I'll close your ears

I'll cuddle you anytime

As this place might be a more than mildly harsh

For your gentle wise soul

We are on this journey together

We have each other, and that alone is enough reason

To be grateful 

Mild little humans, mildly out of place

Yet full of love and light
